modular-shoe-rackImagine, an all in one closet organizer that includes a shoe rack – well that’s just what I’ve found!  The complete closet hanging organizer system is a modular system that allows you to pick and choose the pieces that you want to get your closet organized once and for all.  Each piece hangs over the closet rod which is one of the best ways to make space-conscious use of your closet.  Often times, a closet will have short skirts and shirts hanging from the top bar, with one hundred percent wasted space underneath it.  The best way to make the most of your closet space is by taking advantage of every inch of vertical space, and hanging shoe organizers help you to do this.  This closet organizer is the typical canvas style with shelves and cubbies of varying sizes, with one twist.  You get to choose the pieces to organize your shoes and clothes, and then snap them together for a sturdy closet organizer!  The shoe hanging shelf has five shelves, just enough space for five or more pairs of shoes.  Athletic shoes require more space, but this organizer is great for sandals and dress shoes, each shelf holding a pair.  Two other components to this system, one with five shelves and one with four, can be used for sweaters, clothes and purses, but also for large men’s shoes and women’s running and athletic shoes.  If you have a few feet of hanging space in your closet, line up a few of these organizers to create an entire custom shoe rack for a fraction of the cost! In addition to the shelves, an expanding rod can be hung from your existing closet rod to maximize storage.   They are affordable, stylish, and when you are finished with them, they can be repurposed for something else around the house. Enjoy!

Shoe racks are increasingly being built into other types of furniture, as more and more manufacturers are seeing the demand for shoes, and therefore shoe organizers, increase!  When you think about it, most rooms in the house could benefit from a shoe rack, keeping shoes off the floor and ready to use at a moment’s notice.  For example, I live in the country, so shoes are always required for going outside no matter what.  So, shoes tend to collect each one of the three exits from the home.  (This is easier for us than having to go to the front door and pick out shoes when we are exiting through the garage).  Another place they tend to collect are in the bedrooms and bathrooms.  Wherever your problem shoe area is in the home, there is most likely a multi-functional furniture piece with hidden shoe storage in it.  Read On:
Entryway:
The entryway is a common place for the shoe-pileup to happen.  It also provides a great opportunity for organizing coats, mail, keys, purses and more!  This Entryway Organizer has everything from a mirror for last minute touch ups before heading out the door, to key hooks and even a revolving cabinet on the bottom that makes an ideal shoe rack!
Bedroom or Bathroom:
A wardrobe with shoe rack built-in offers maximum storage of clothes and shoes.  Use this wardrobe in the guest bedroom, or a bedroom-conversion that is lacking a closet.  It zips to keep dust out, which makes it an ideal candidate for the garage as well.  Keep out of season clothes and shoes tucked away in this wardrobe for a more organized home.
Whatever your shoe organizing needs are, I assure you that there is a solution out there for you that will work for your household.  It may come in the form of a shoe rack, or it may be hidden within another piece of furniture!
